Welcome to the New Look and Feel!

Welcome to the new look and feel of your favorite "arun917." The reason for such a huge change from the previous look is to enhance the loading time. Many of my friends complained of slow website laoding, and requested that I should make many a huge change to my site. Kudos to them all, they've all helped me realize the reason for low traffic, and encouraged me in building this new look!! Thanks people!!

What is "arun917"?

Many of you may wonder what 'arun917' actually means. Its simple. arun stands for Arun, my name. 9 stands for September, the month of my birth. And 17 stands for the Seventeenth, the day of my birth.

The thought to call my website 'arun917' originated after I went through my Hotmail^(R) inbox. A huge list of junk e-mails and many forwards. I love going through the e-mail ids through which the forward has passed and deciphiring the reason behind a particular e-mail id. Doing so, I found one interesting e-mail id () and decided I would have for myself a website named after my name, month of birth and date of birth. Thus originated arun917.

How to browse in this New Look??

Now, this is a simple question. Just browse as you did before. See the top-bar? Go here to access the Home Page, Message Board, To subscribe to KFAW, Telephone directory, Photo Gallery and Guest Book.

Next, see the side-bar to your left. You can access the things in the top-bar from here also. It also has other links of this website, like Board Exam results of 2004, CBSE, a link to view my Guest Book, Game links etc...

Besides, I've also removed the hassle of coming back to the top after you've scrolled down lots by adding a travelling side-bar. See it in the extreme left of the screen. You can take you mouse over it, and a menu slides out giving you links to my site's webpages. The travelling navigation bar will automatically slide in after you take your mouse away from the bar.

Next, see the side-bar to your right.
